Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

Privacy is part of trust, and that matters to us. This Policy explains how we handle your data when you use our website and our mobile application for iOS and Android, when you place orders for personalized PDF analyses, and when you use our free or premium content.

The Policy is written so that an average user can understand it. If anything is unclear, please write to us at podrska@astroskop.rs — we will reply within a reasonable time.

2. Data Controller

The controller of your personal data is Stratoventures LLC, a limited liability company registered in the State of New Mexico, United States of America. Stratoventures LLC operates the Astroskop platform, which includes the website astroskop.rs and the mobile application for iOS and Android.

"Astroskop" is the name of the platform and brand and not a separate legal entity. In this document, "we", "us", or "Astroskop" refers to Stratoventures LLC as the legally responsible party.

Privacy contact: podrska@astroskop.rs. Customer support is primarily provided in Serbian for users from Serbia and the region; communication may also be conducted in English when needed.

3. Data we collect

Depending on how you use Astroskop, we collect the following categories of data:

• Account data: name or username, email address, and password. The password is never stored in plain text — only as a securely hashed value using a standard one-way algorithm.
• Birth data: date, time, and place of birth, plus geographic coordinates when needed for astrological calculations. This data is required for natal charts, annual horoscopes, solar return, and related analyses.
• Other person's data (for synastry and relationship analyses): date, time, and place of birth of another person, if you enter them (see section 4).
• Numerology data: first name, last name, date of birth, and other information you provide in the numerology form.
• User-submitted content: text you enter into the Sanovnik (our dream-interpretation feature), user prompts, journal entries, notes, and similar functionality (see section 5).
• Purchase and subscription data: type of service purchased, order status, purchase date, amount, currency, subscription status, product ID, and transaction ID.
• Technical data: IP address, device type, operating system, application version, access time, basic security logs, and the push notification token if notifications are enabled.

4. Other person's data in synastry

If you order a synastry or any other relationship analysis, you may enter another person's data — typically date, time, and place of birth.

By submitting such data you confirm that you have the right or an appropriate legal basis to use it for the stated purpose, particularly when the data relates to a person other than yourself. Stratoventures LLC processes this data only to produce the ordered analysis and does not use it for any other purpose.

5. User-submitted content

If you use features such as the Sanovnik, user prompts, journal, notes, or similar tools, we may process the text you submit.

This content may be personal or sensitive in nature, since it may contain dreams, emotions, relationships, life experiences, or other information you choose to share with the platform.

We use this data solely to provide the feature you requested, to display history, to produce interpretations or personalized content, and in line with the choices you make in the application or on the website. You can delete content manually at any time, and deleting your account also deletes this content as described in section 10.

6. Purpose and legal basis for processing

We process your data in accordance with applicable laws, on the following bases:

• Performance of a contract: creating an account, producing your natal chart, synastry, numerology analysis, annual horoscope, and solar return; delivering the PDF by email; enabling premium features in the app; and storing order history.
• Consent: push notifications, non-essential cookies, and certain features that involve submitting personal content (e.g., Sanovnik). You may withdraw consent at any time — withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.
• Legitimate interest: platform and account security, prevention of misuse and fraud, technical error analysis, prevention of unjustified chargebacks, and improving the stability of the service.
• Legal obligation: tax, accounting, regulatory, and other obligations that may apply to the operations of Stratoventures LLC or to related payment processes.

7. Recipients of data

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We may share data with carefully selected service providers who help our platform function and who act exclusively on our instructions:

• Hosting and infrastructure — physical storage of servers and the database with a professional provider.
• Apple Inc. and Google LLC — App Store, Google Play, in-app purchase transactions, push notifications, and the technical operation of the application.
• Google Maps / Places API — autocomplete of birth locations and retrieval of geographic coordinates required for astrological calculations.
• Email delivery services — sending verification messages, password resets, order confirmations, and PDF analysis deliveries.
• Payment processors, where used for cards or other forms of online payment, in line with section 8.
• Analytics providers — Google LLC (Google Analytics 4) and Microsoft Corporation (Microsoft Clarity) for anonymous analysis of site visits and user behavior; these services load only after you give your consent (see section 13).
• Marketing providers — Meta Platforms Inc. (Meta Pixel) for measuring the effectiveness of advertising campaigns on Facebook and Instagram; loads only after you give your consent (see section 13).
• Other technology service providers required for the operation of the platform (e.g., error monitoring, security tools).

8. Apple, Google, and payment data

If you make a payment through Apple App Store, Google Play, or another external payment processor, the billing, storage of payment data, subscription cancellation, and refunds are handled by those providers under their own rules and privacy policies.

Card numbers do not pass through Astroskop's servers when payment is made via Apple, Google, or other external payment processors. We receive only transaction status, product type and ID, amount, and any confirmations needed to deliver the service.

9. Data transfers outside Serbia and the EU

Stratoventures LLC is registered in the United States. Some of our service providers — including Apple, Google, payment processors, email delivery services, and other technology providers — may be located in the United States or in countries outside Serbia and the European Union.

When personal data is transferred outside Serbia/EU, we aim to ensure an appropriate level of protection in accordance with applicable laws. The mechanisms we apply, where relevant, may include:

• Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC),
• Data Processing Agreements (DPA) with service providers,
• technical and organizational data protection measures,
• use of service providers that offer an appropriate level of protection through their own internal policies, certifications, or legal instruments.

10. Data retention

• Account data: as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, the data is deleted or anonymized within a reasonable period — typically up to 30 days — unless there is a legal or legitimate reason to retain it longer.
• Birth data: as long as your account exists or as long as needed for an order, history display, re-creation of an analysis, or any feature you use.
• Personalized PDF reports: may be stored for a certain period for delivery, re-sending, order records, complaints, and technical support.
• Dreams, journals, notes, and user prompts: as long as your account exists, until you delete them yourself, or until you request account deletion.
• Billing data: in accordance with tax, accounting, and legal obligations — potentially up to 10 years if required.
• Technical and security logs: for as long as reasonably necessary for security, prevention of misuse, and platform stability.
• Push tokens: while you use the application and while notifications are enabled.

11. Your rights

Depending on the country in which you live and the applicable laws, you may have certain rights regarding your personal data:

• the right to access your data,
• the right to a copy of your data in a structured format,
• the right to correction of inaccurate or incomplete data,
• the right to erasure ("right to be forgotten"),
• the right to restriction of processing,
• the right to object to processing,
• the right to data portability,
• the right to withdraw consent at any time,
• the right to lodge a complaint with the competent data protection authority.

To exercise any of these rights, please write to us at podrska@astroskop.rs. If the mobile application offers account deletion, you can also do it yourself via Settings → Privacy → Delete account.

Users in Serbia may contact the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection (poverenik.rs). Users in other jurisdictions may contact the appropriate competent authority in their country.

Because Astroskop does not offer its services to persons residing in the United States (see the Terms of Service), this Policy does not address specific rights arising from individual U.S. state consumer privacy laws (such as the CCPA/CPRA in California, the VCDPA in Virginia, or similar laws in other states).

12. Data security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data:

• HTTPS/TLS encryption for all communication between devices and servers,
• password hashing using a standard one-way algorithm,
• limited access to systems and data, granted only to authorized personnel,
• regular software and security patch updates,
• backups and recovery procedures,
• role-based access control,
• basic security logging to detect and prevent abuse,
• restricting access to data only to those service providers who genuinely need it to deliver their service.

Please note that no system is absolutely secure and no provider can guarantee complete security. We strive to apply reasonable, modern protective measures, and in the event of a security incident we will act in accordance with applicable laws and notify users in a timely manner if needed.

13. Cookies and tracking technologies

The astroskop.rs website uses several categories of cookies and similar tracking technologies. On your first visit we display a consent banner where you can accept all categories, reject all except strictly necessary, or make a granular choice by category.

Strictly necessary

Without these cookies the site cannot function (session, login, security, basic UI) and, additionally, the astro_consent cookie that stores your choice from the banner. No specific consent is required for this category.

Analytics — with your consent

• Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC) — anonymous statistics on visitor numbers and behavior. IP anonymization is enabled. Before consent, Google Consent Mode v2 is used, which means Google may send limited, aggregated signals without placing cookies on your device.
• Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Corporation) — heatmaps, click maps, and aggregated UI interaction analysis to help us improve the user experience. Loads only after your consent.

Marketing — with your consent

• Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms Inc.) — measuring the effectiveness of advertising campaigns on Facebook and Instagram and creating audiences for retargeting. Loads only after your consent.

How to change your choice

You can change your consent at any time via the "Cookie settings" link in the site footer. Your choice is stored in the astro_consent cookie for 6 months, after which the banner will be displayed again for confirmation. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

Consent given through the banner applies to the astroskop.rs website. In the iOS and Android mobile applications, measurement is performed through Apple and Google platforms and their own privacy mechanisms (e.g., Apple App Tracking Transparency).

14. Push notifications

The mobile application can send push notifications only if you enable them on your device or in the application settings. Push notifications may include:

• daily astrological messages,
• reminders related to application features,
• service notifications (e.g., system maintenance),
• account information,
• information about premium features and subscriptions.

You can disable notifications at any time in the device or application settings.

15. Email communications

We may send transactional and service emails to the email address you provide:

• order confirmations,
• payment instructions,
• delivery of PDF analyses,
• password reset and email verification,
• account and subscription notifications,
• important changes to the Terms of Service or this Privacy Policy.

We send marketing and promotional emails only when there is an appropriate legal basis or your consent, where consent is required. Every marketing message contains an unsubscribe option (link or instruction). Transactional messages (e.g., order confirmations) are sent even after marketing unsubscription, since they are required to perform the contract.

16. Children and minors

• Astroskop is intended for users aged 16 and older.
• If a user is under 18 years of age, they may use the platform only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
• We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16.
• If we learn that we have collected data from a child under 16 without appropriate consent, we will take reasonable steps to delete that data without undue delay.

17. User responsibility for submitted data

You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you submit, in particular:

• date, time, and place of birth,
• email address,
• another person's data for synastry or relationship analyses,
• content submitted to the Sanovnik, user prompts, journals, notes, or other features.

If you submit inaccurate data, the personalized analysis may be inaccurate or incomplete, and this does not constitute an error on the part of the service provider. If you submit data about another person, you are responsible for doing so lawfully and appropriately, in accordance with the laws applicable to your jurisdiction.

18. Links to other websites

The website and application may contain links to external websites, applications, or services operated by third parties (e.g., App Store, Google Play, maps, external partners). Astroskop / Stratoventures LLC is not responsible for the privacy policies, content, security, or conduct of those third parties. Before using their services, we recommend that you read their terms and privacy policies.

19. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when we introduce new features, change how we process data, change service providers, or align the document with legal, technical, or business changes.

We publish material changes on this page, in the application, or via email at least 14 days before they take effect, where reasonable and practicable. The date of the last update is shown at the top of the document.
